Constructive Parenting offers a 6 Week Class Series for small groups on an “on demand” basis. Topics covered include effective discipline, parenting with your values in mind, mindful parenting, connecting before redirecting and understanding what your child is really asking for with his or her behavior. The STAR Parenting Model

In addition to one-on-one parent consultations and outpatient therapy for children and adolescents I also offer parenting classes.  In these classes, I utilitize the STAR Parenting Model, an approach that teaches parents a problem solving process as well as strategies and tools for creating positive change.   STAR Parenting was developed by Elizabeth Crary M.S., a parent educator, public speaker and published author with over 20 years experience.  Ms. Crary has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey show and Dateline NBC.
