Support for Deeply Feeling Kids
Helping highly sensitive, emotionally intense, and neurodivergent children build regulation, connection, and resilience
Are you feeling overwhelmed or frustrated?
We all love our children, but when emotions run high and reactions feel intense, it can be hard to stay connected. If your child experiences frequent meltdowns, big emotional swings, strong reactions, or behaviors that leave you feeling unsure how to respond, you are not alone.
Many deeply feeling kids experience the world more intensely — emotionally, physically, and relationally. When parents have tried “everything” and nothing seems to help, it’s common to feel confused, discouraged, or even worried about what’s going on beneath the surface. Children don’t come with instruction manuals, and traditional behavior strategies often fall short for kids with sensitive nervous systems.
It takes a village…
When children need help with their homework or with tying their shoes they are very good at letting us know. When they need support with emotional regulation, navigating relationships, or managing an intense inner world, their requests for help often look very different.
For deeply feeling kids, struggles may show up as meltdowns, withdrawal, defiance, anxiety, or big emotional reactions. These behaviors are not signs of failure or manipulation — they are signals from a nervous system that needs support, understanding, and skill-building.
I can help.
I specialize in supporting parents of deeply feeling children by helping them understand what their child’s behavior is communicating. Together, we work to decode emotional signals, strengthen regulation skills, and build tools that honor your child’s temperament rather than trying to change who they are.
I support parents as they learn new ways to respond that foster emotional safety and connection. I also work directly with children to build emotional awareness, social skills, and the ability to recognize and communicate their needs. Over time, families often experience fewer power struggles, greater confidence, and deeper, more secure connections.
